Little History and Why we do it.
Jim Horton is the owner and founder of Reel Custom Boat Works, however; Jodi, Joslyn and Jimmy are what make it work.
Jim grew up in the central valley and has fished the San Joaquin Delta and Sacramento River for over 40 years. Jim has also spent countless hours learning and understanding the San Francisco Bay, and the Foothill and Sierra lakes. As a guide, Jim prides himself on making sure our fisheries are sustainable and that our Oceans, Bays, Lakes, Rivers and Streams are taken care of to the best of his ability.
Located in Lodi California, Jim was fortunate enough to find a great marine services shop (Anthony's Marine Service) to work with. Anthony has been in the marine business for over 20 years and does an excellent job with installation, repair, maintenance and diagnostics. Anthony works on all makes and models of boats, and motors, to include outboard, inboard and jet. Anthony also works on trailers and personal watercraft.
Jim has partnered with companies from all over the country in an attempt to bring to the west coast what other parts of the country are using successfully. It is Jim's goal to make sure he can offer our boaters/fisherman an opportunity to outfit their boats with the necessary equipment to make fishing in our area more productive. We currently offer not only boat and marine products, but fishing equipment and tackle as well.
